From the early age of 7, he began showing a very deep interest in computers. He received his very first personal computer when he was 9 years old. He was also very active in sports, starting Tae Kwon Do lessons at the age of 6 and receiving a black belt. He also played for the football team in high school. Afterwards, Colton was hired by the company to help them fix up their bugs and tighten up their weak security system, which he did effortlessly. Colton had an interview session with Joe Tidy from BBC,<ref name=bbc/> which was impressive enough for “PweDiePie” to react to it in one of the YouTube videos.
