Practical Sports & Outdoors is a retail sporting goods store devoted to customer satisfaction & offering only the best in outdoor goods. While being one of the largest sporting goods stores online, some may think personalized service is secondary. Ron learned years ago, that a happy and satisfied customer is the ultimate goal in retailing. With his extensive background in retail, Ron opened Practical Sports & Outdoors for the camping enthusiast. This quickly grew to being one of the most popular camping gear sites on the net.
History
Practical Sports & Outdoors started business in 2007. Expanding on our line of outdoor products, a new name and business model was required to meet this need. While maintaining our vast selection of camping products, new fields were brought on, such as hunting gear, shooting accessories, survival equipment and a much broader range of recreational items in general.
Ron Tabor: A retail specialist, started selling at Flea Markets in 1989, opened a surplus store in 2001, online with eBay and mc-surplus.com in 1999. A complete home furnishings store was started in 2006 with Rooms Delivered. To help support the growing sporting goods sector, Practical Sports & Outdoors was born.
