The Foundation for Recovery, Inc. was founded in 2005 as a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Public Charity and is governed by a six-person Board of Directors.

The Foundation seeks, through its various initiatives and programs, to make recovery from addiction more available to the addict who still suffers and strives to remove barriers to recovery by propagating the availability of recovery for addicts, their friends, and families.

The purpose of the Foundation is to promote recovery from addiction through a number of innovative initiatives and activities. Targeted areas for these initiatives will focus on direct services, research and developmental activities, education, promoting scholarly study of recovery alternatives, public awareness, and advocacy.
