Gregorian calendar is now widely use all over the world. Although there are other rules calculating year, over the last 400 years most country's have shared the use of 365.2425 day year. In [[Date:=1582|1582]] France joined to use Gregorian calendar, changing its date from [[date:=1582-10-04|1582-10-04]] to [[date:=1582-10-15|1582-10-15]] and Germany in 1700's, followed shortly by England and America.
The it has later been discovered that the Gregorian calendar year differs from the solar year by only 26 seconds! this only adds up to a single day difference every 3,323 years.
