In a similar move to 1956, Soviet Union with so called puppet Warsaw Pact countries invades Chechoslovakia, now a former republic in central Europe; divided into Czech Republic and Slovakia on 1.1.1993. Czechoslovakia was in danger of being swept away by a popular uprising and the USSR crushed this revolt to bring its people 'freedom'!
