Future Bulletins LLC (parent company of Bulletin Bag) is a 100% woman-owned company located on the coast of Southern Maine, just outside of Portland. Bulletin Bag is committed to offering the best selection customizable reusable grocery bags made from a variety of materials at prices to fit all budgets. Bulletin Bags are designed to be printed with logos or custom artwork and are commonly used for company promotions, retail/wholesale purchase, special events, school fundraisers and nonprofit awareness campaigns.
Bulletin Bag founder Suzette Bergeron didn't initially set out to establish a 'green' business. Though she was once affectionately referred to as an 'eco-psycho' because of her efforts to green her workplace almost 15 years ago, Suzette doesn't consider herself to be a die-hard environmentalist.
As an entrepreneur, avid trend-watcher and owner of another successful promotions firm Funman Promotions , she couldn't help but notice that reusable bags were gaining momentum and providing opportunities for companies to connect with consumers who are yearning for ways to take small, but important 'green steps' toward a more sustainable and responsible lifestyle.
The forces that led to forming Future Bulletins LLC and Bulletin Bag [.com] were more of a slow burn than a lightening strike; a combination of personal and professional observations that all began to point in the same direction: "good" business can equal "profitable" business.
For more and more companies, true environmental concern and ethical practices are not just sugar-coating for the annual report. They are principles at the core of the business -- and a big part of why these companies succeed. Bulletin Bag [.com] helps promote those businesses: a model built on the ideals of sustainability: reduce, reuse, recycle.
This "big idea" was found in the aisles of the grocery store: reusable shopping bags are more than just an eco-friendly shopping accessory, they offer a whole new medium for the promotion of eco-conscious information, practices and companies.
Good news. For the planet.
