"Sarey Savy" (born March 1, 1996) is a Cambodian ocassional actor, model and Recording artist. In August 2010, Cambodia's Best magazine listed Savy as #3 of the Most Influential Cambodian Artists In The World [1].
Career
The singer's career started when he garnered the main role of "Alex" in his first debut film Sanitorium.
The singer opened a small store in 2010, under Zazzle.com named SareySavyProducts which you can purchase Sarey Savy binders, a calendar, posters, mugs and more [2].
Music
Savy's musical career began in 2010 after his appearence on America's Got Talent
Savy released his new promotional single Murderer which was commercially unsuccessful. Yet still has had airplay and was popular among his fanbase also, more successful then his previous promo single Gone [3][4] the single had Cambodian bloggers say Sarey is "The coolest Cambodian kid you never heard of"[5]. Sarey has stated the new single "Let's Be Friends" [6] , this is supposedly taking Savy to the mainstream world and more exposed, sexualized image [7]. On Facebook the singer slated his voice has been strained and due to personal issues has stalled Let's Be Friends to be released in 2011.
Sarey has been chosen behalf of Anthem's International Music Festival also known as IMF as the winner of being the representative for Seattle in a singing contest which he advanced to the top 70 for Washington state[8].
Controversy
Sarey may be doing a gay-based film which he states that the rumor may be true but, is unconfirmed Template:Fact.
Sarey will appear as a new face to the IPhone's new app Template:Fact.
