Starting out professionally as a VA FHA loan officer in college, then jumping into Bio-Tech Applications Engineering while at PALL Corp. Then moving up to VP Eastern US for Membrane Div or Brunswick Corp. When the membrane division was sold. The opportunity to return to institutional investment sales arose. Starting a institutional Govt. backed CD program. There became a major opening in fixed income securities sales in the early 80's. Then because of gaining the attention of State of California's Treasure. Mr. Marvin's performance in Fixed Income Sales & Trading an introduction to R C Brown-Pacific Securities in San Francisco created the opportunity to launch the "MATRIX" advisory system where daily trading advisory was published every day. Via the Tele-Rate for subscribers world wide.

During the 80's Laurance was extremely successful due to his creation of the "MATRIX" a proprietary mathematically driven system that created cross confriming signals with hard copy forecasting for both daily and long term price action entry and exit points for all durations of the US Treasury Bonds, Notes and Bills, US Treasury Futures & Options. This proprietary technical Black Box was also adapted for Stocks, currency's and other commodities.

The roots for the concepts of MATRIX, came from extensive contact with the archive of W.D.GANN...under the mentoring of Billy Jones during the 1983-85 period. Laurance made several trips to Idaho, spending several weeks studying"original" charts, notes, and other documents. Including Gann's work on forecasting Lottery numbers. Laurance's exposure to W.D.Gann's technical system began several years before, when a one of Gann's original clients allowed him access to the personal letters and account statements for that client. The client Westley Atkin's had been living in South Africa prior to 1939. Saving the letters as proof that Atkin's had actually been an original client of Gann.. This in connection with Laurance's lifelong extensive exposure to aviation. More importantly mathematical aspects of aircraft design and performance engineering a played very important role in creating proprietary combination with Gann's theory for new technical forecasting models.

Matrix was the first "online direct trading" advisory of internationally distribution of information, The Matrix "trade name" was later sold. For a better brand name "Shadow System"

Due to his success on wall street he was given the nickname of "The Shadow" by it's members. As such he publicly forecast for the crash of 1987 of both Stock and Bonds, months before either event had made it's high's. Not to mention forecasting the date and price levels for the '87 Crash in bonds and stocks. In the mid 90's Laurance created PuzzleWorks Int. a successful consulting and investment risk consulting company. That is still supporting clients around the world.

Over the last 25+ years his "Documented" public success in forecasting the year 2000 top for Stocks. Is a painful reality fact for vast majority of industry professionals. In 2008 Laurance started a Free risk advisory service to aid small private investors. Designed to help protect wealth from Market volatility in Stocks, Bonds, Commodity's as well as provide an unbiased stream of accurate information.
