Silentaria
Silentaria is an Electronic New Age [1] project founded in 2010 by Rixa White, a self-taught pianist, keyboardist, composer and poet, known as Man in White. [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10]
Style
The project’s music combines elements of Electronic, [11], New Age, [12] Contemporary Instrumental, [13] Ambient, [14] Space Music, [15] and Progressive Rock [16] genres. It is the reminiscence of New Age and Electronic music projects such as Enigma, [17] Yanni, [18] Jean Michel Jarre, [19] Kitaro, [20] Vangelis, [21] and Era. [22] Silentaria music is mainly instrumental and vocals are occasionally used to highlight its message. All these few lyrics and the poems used on Silentaria music videos are written by Rixa White. [23] [24] [25] [26] [27] [28]
Instruments
The main instruments are Keyboard, [29] Synthesizers, [30] Strings, [31] Flutes, [32] Electric Guitars, [33] Drum Machines, [34] and Digital Choirs. Rixa White also uses digital sounds like computer-generated human voices on his music. [35] [36]
Philosophy
Silentaria is inspired by the Wholeness and Emptiness philosophy. Its voice is an invitation to the inner world which is silent but the source of every sound. This manifests Silentaria’s slogan: “The Voice of Emptiness. [37] [38] Rixa White music has been named as Rebellious Electronic music and he has been criticized as a composer producing sounds that create chaos in beliefs. [39]
